About the Joseph Wharton Awards Dinner
The Wharton Club of New York's Joseph Wharton Awards Dinner has long been considered the premiere business school alumni event in New York City. The breadth and depth of the alumni community was once again on display this past year at The Jumeirah Essex House, where over 250 Wharton Alumni helped recognize four exceptional leaders from within the Wharton community: Ralph J. Roberts, W'41, Hon'05, Robert S. Kapito, W'79, George A. Weiss, W'65 and Jeff Fluhr, W'96 En'96. This year will recognize the fifth anniversary of the revival and the 25th Joseph Wharton Awards dinner overall, and will continue to strengthen the notion that the Wharton Alumni Association is one of the most exclusive and powerful communities in the world.
