The Supernova Conference

University Relations

The Supernova conference (http://www.supernovahub.com), organized by Wharton professor Kevin Werbach, brings together executives, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, and other thought leaders to explore the transformation of business and society in the Network Age. It will be held this year in Philadelphia, on campus at Wharton, on July 29-30.

Members of the Wharton Alumni Club can register for Supernova for $75, a fifty-percent discount, using priority code wny10 at https://supernovahub.com/registration/register.php.

For nine years, Supernova has anticipated major technology trends. Supernova Forum 2010 will address the transition from old business models to those in sync with ubiquitous connectivity and interactive platforms. Speakers include David Cohen (Comcast), Danah Boyd (Microsoft Research), Jeff Jarvis (Author, "What Would Google Do?'), John Borthwick (Betaworks), Beth Noveck (US Deputy CTO), Lynne Johnson (Advertising Research Foundation), Paul De Sa (FCC), and Josh Kopelman (First Round Capital), as well as Wharton faculty David Hsu, Eric Bradlow, Shawndra Hill, Ethan Mollick, and Peter Fader.

Supernova is renowned for its interactivity and productive networking. In addition to insightful sessions, Supernova Forum 2010 will feature a special "unconference" day led by key tech policy staff from the Obama Administration and entrepreneurs from Philadelphia and beyond.
