Entrepreneurship - The Opportunity of a Lifetime Happens Once Every Two Weeks

Speaker Series Event

In a world where entrepreneurial opportunity abounds and, despite a deep recession, start-up capital still flows, many aspiring entrepreneurs fail to identify and capitalize on opportunities that surround them.  Most often what they lack is not courage, confidence, or perseverance, but an understanding of how to think about, recognize, and capitalize on entrepreneurial opportunity.

Drawing on years of experience observing and advising entrepreneurs, launching new ventures, investing in businesses, and thinking about and teaching entrepreneurship, Bob Borghese and Bob Chaflin will lead a discussion on the five key points about entrepreneurial opportunity. These thoughts will help guide the thinking of aspiring entrepreneurs on locating, recognizing, structuring, and financing business opportunities.

The program will discuss
  • Why Entrepreneurship is Attractive
  • Common Characteristics of a Successful Deal
  • Financing the Enterprise
  • Mitigation of Risk
  • What Should You Be Doing Now?
This offering, which promises to be lively and fully-subscribed, is designed for nascent, start-up,  and existing entrepreneurs.
