A Conversation with Warby Parker’s Neil Blumenthal

Much has been written about Warby Parker’s admirable growth since a conversation in a Huntsman Hall computer lab led four Wharton students to found the company in 2010, but have you ever heard from the co-CEO himself?

The Penn Club and The Wharton Club of New York are pleased to invite you to an intimate conversation with Neil Blumenthal. Neil is the co-founder and co-CEO of Warby Parker, a transformative lifestyle brand that offers designer eyewear at a revolutionary price, while leading the way for socially conscious businesses. Earlier this year Fast Company named Warby Parker as the most innovative company in the world. You can read more about Neil’s background here.

Among many topics, this informative program will explore Warby Parker’s roots, purposeful growth strategy, commitment to talent development, and social mission. Attendees are also encouraged to submit questions, some of which will be posed on an anonymous basis during the event, to Gabriela Sanchez before May 1.

Neil will be interviewed by Andrew Stern, who works on the Leadership, Learning & Organizational Development team at Bloomberg LP. He is responsible for the identification and development of top, scarce, and diverse talent across the company. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Andrew worked as a human capital consultant for Deloitte, where he advised Fortune 100 HR organizations on talent strategy, learning and development, and leadership programs. Andrew graduated from Wharton in 2010 with a concentration in Organizational Effectiveness, and can be reached @AndrewUStern.
