The WCNY Special & Social Events Committee invites you to join your fellow Wharton Alums on Monday, January 16th 2017 at 6pm for an evening of live music and social gathering down in the lower east side at the trendy Pianos. Cash bar will be available.

The evening will feature one of our very own alums, Karolina Rose, as she will be performing with her band and celebrating the release of her first single, "Move With Me".  Just a few months ago, Karolina Rose left her job as portfolio manager at a fund of hedge funds in the city to pursue her music full-time indefinitely. She has teamed up with NYC-based producer Andros Rodriguez, with his previous work including clients such as Justin Timberlake, Shakira, Whitney Houston, Jewel, Kelly Clarkson and Lenny Kravitz. Karolina Rose will be debuting her original songs with a full band at Pianos.
 
About Karolina and her project:  She is an alternative electro-pop singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn. With pure honesty and vulnerability, Karolina Rose mixes soulful vocals with fresh 80s-inspired synth pop, wrapped in dark undertones. Her presence on stage is alluring and will consume you. Influences include Debbie Harry and Florence Welch.
