A Night of Live Music and Socializing at The Bowery Electric

Special & Social Events Committee

The WCNY Special & Social Events Committee invites you to join your fellow Wharton Alums on Wednesday, July 25th 2018 at 8:30pm for an evening of live music and social gathering down in the lower east side at The Bowery Electric.

The evening will feature one of our alums, Karolina Rose, as a follow-up show from last year's WCNY concert event at Pianos. This time, Karolina is celebrating the release of her single « Goodnight, Mr. Moon », which is available everywhere you stream music or digitally on her website, as well as her upcoming single « Going To Berlin ». Her EP is coming out at the end of August.  All songs have been written by Karolina and produced by Andros Rodriguez (Florence + The Machine, Shakira). Karolina will be performing her original songs with a full band.

About Karolina and her project:  Last year, she left her job as portfolio manager at a fund of hedge funds in the city to pursue her music full-time indefinitely. She is an alternative electro-pop singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn. Her songs aren’t sad; they are more of a soul-searching journey. With her force-of-nature vocals, Karolina Rose is dark daydream art pop made out of fine poetic prose mixed with emotive, feminine power. Influences include Debbie Harry and Florence Welch. www.karolinarose.com.
