Join Executive Coaches and Wharton Alumni Rob Dinerman and Andrew Stern for a Coaching Master Class to learn:
  1. Coaching basics you can apply at work and in your life.
  2. The difference between coaching, mentoring, and other forms of development.
  3. The value of a coach for your career.
  4. How to find and evaluate a coach.
  5. How group coaching can support a team's effectiveness.
This event will be a working session which includes coaching role play and coaching exercises between attendees.
 
Panelists:

Rob Dinerman, W'78 helps train thousands of coaches each year as part of his advisory role with The John Maxwell Team. a global think-tank for business and leadership transformation. Rob also volunteers as Vice President of Marketing and Membership for the Wharton Club of New York.

He began his career at Salomon Brothers where he worked on the Government and newly formed Mortgage Backed Securities trading desks. After developing trading systems there, he moved into technology, managing teams at tech companies like Oracle, Sun, and Gartner. He is very active locally, serving as Vice President of the New Providence Board of Education and The Union County School Board Association,

Andrew Stern, W'10 leads the Learning & Development team at Squarespace. His team is responsible for new employee onboarding, professional development, leadership development, executive coaching, and team effectiveness solutions for the global company. Prior to joining Squarespace, Andrew held several roles on Bloomberg's Talent Development team and worked as a human capital consultant at Deloitte. In addition to serving as the Assistant Vice President of Special Programs for the Wharton Alumni Club of New York, Andrew sits on the advisory boards of Own The Room and GenHERation.
