A special invitation from the Wharton Club of National Capital Region (WCNCR).

The WCNCR Climate Change and Finance Affinity Groups is pleased to invite the Wharton Club of New York to their signature event on climate change.

A recent study, published in Nature “alarmingly asserts that the world is already past a point of no return for global warming and that the only way to halt the catastrophic damage caused by greenhouse emissions is to extract enormous amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere." Join Dr. Soumitra Das WG03 and the Healthy Climate Initiative (HCI) interns for an interactive and informal discussion on climate restoration market opportunities in India. You will learn:
  1. What is climate restoration and why is it essential to save humanity?
  2. Leading climate restoration solutions
  3. A detailed business plan for one of the solutions to execute in India.
HCI, a non-profit organization founded by Dr. Soumitra Das, WG03, has been exploring market-based solutions to extract greenhouse gases from the atmosphere. The HCI engaged these young interns to investigate climate restoration solutions for the Indian market under the guidance of Dr. Soumitra Das.
