If you are an entrepreneur in the food and beverage space – restaurant owners, emerging food-related brands, or future business owners – please join us for a virtual bootcamp focusing on building a winning business model in the food and beverage sector today.

It is fair to say that every sector has been upended by the impact of Covid-19. However, restrictions on dining due to the pandemic, concerns about supply chain resiliency for everything from fresh produce to paper goods, and the rush to create innovative business models that address issues such as labor shortages have resulted in a startup and investment frenzy within the food and beverage sector. In a recent article in Food Business News, it was stated that the 2020 funding to food and beverage startups increased 75% year-over-year to $5.6 billion. The session will start with opening comments from our speakers about the general state of the food and beverage sector for startups. Next, we will either do virtual breakout sessions with the speakers, depending on the number of attendees or remain together for the experts to answer questions from the audience about our topic.

In addition to the food and beverage startup questions raised by the session participants, we anticipate the following subject areas to be covered during the bootcamp:
  • Insight into the food and beverage industry post-Covid 19.
  • Innovative business models in the food and beverage sector gaining market traction and investment.
  • Brand building concepts to position food and beverage startups to maximize their market potential.
  • Keys to achieving scale that attracts investors and exit plans.
  • Legal considerations for entrepreneurs in this space.
