Seeking Volunteers to join the Member Services Committee

Position:
Chairperson, Member Service Committee

Reports to:
Kofi Kankam, Vice President, Marketing & Communications

Committee Description:
The Member Service Committee reports to the VP of Marketing and Communication. This Committee is responsible for reviewing and setting the Club’s dues structure, providing help to members, welcoming new members, retaining current members and making sure that all members renew. This Committee’s work will be driven to some extent by activities within various other divisions of the Club, as well as the President.

Responsibilities:
Chairperson – Responsible for planning day-to-day activities of the committee so as to achieve the goals as stated in the committee description. Chairperson develops annual plans for the Committee and stays current with the President and the management team thinking and expectations, in order to carry out these plans. The Chairperson is also responsible for identifying, coordinating and working with other Committee volunteers to implement any plan of action.

Volunteer – Responsible for implementing the plan of action as determined by the committee, and to help the committee achieve the goals as stated in the committee description.

Time Commitment:
On average, two hours a week.

Qualifications:
All volunteers must be dues paying members of the Wharton Club of New York

Type of person would be most suited for the position:
Someone who wants to be involved. If you have interest, then you are qualified. After all, you are a Wharton graduate!
