WCNY Needs Venues to Hold Events
Host an event and receive publicity for your company... and a tax write off.
The biggest cost in running programs in Manhattan is the venue. In an effort to reduce the costs of attending events for members, The Wharton Club of New York is always looking for the use of facilities to be donated.
WCNY events range from “private briefings” with an audience of 30 people to “high profile speakers” with an audience of anywhere from 200 to 500 people). Most of the events are held in the evening when your meeting rooms, conference rooms and auditoriums are probably vacant.
If you have the facilities to host a WCNY event, you or your company will be promoted at these events as well as in our publications to our 16,000 alumni as a sponsor of the Club and underwriter of events. And, since the Wharton Club of New York is a not-for-profit organization in good standing, the cost of the facilities you donate can be tax deductible.
Evan Eneman W’99 (PWC) is the Chairperson of our Events Support Committee. If you are willing and able to host an event in your facility, please email the information to WCNY Event Support.
