Charlie Seymour Jr, WG’75

Little did he know at the age of six in his first theatrical production that his business career would lead him to help professionals and executives create their own legends now in video, audio, and print as they dominate their niche to attract more clients or patients.

Even at an early age, Charlie was creating stories to help people succeed. He received his first camera (Brownie, if you remember them!) at age four and went on to become a professional photographer. He began his video career at age 11 at the side of Robert J. Kerr, the Dupont scientist (and community-theater director) who was a leading specialist in the creation of video tape at a time when a “home machine” weighed 37 pounds and you had to wind the tape from reel to reel.

He’s been active in the performing arts: Charlie directed his first three-act play in 7th grade. He performed in at least one theater production a year through college years, founded a musical theater group at Tufts University (Torn Ticket), and went into theater directing and managing. And he wrote (and directed) The Hunchback of Notre Dame with New York (and frequent UPenn Mask and Wig) composer, Neil Radisch. He started his own video production business in 2000.

Now a #1 Best Selling Author, speaker, and video master, Charlie specializes in online marketing and social media and has really had fun since receiving his MBA from The Wharton School in 1975 and BA from Tufts University in 1973.

During his career he sold $247,368,657.97 in personal real estate sales and more than $1 Billion through his marketing leadership skills; ran professional theaters in Princeton, NJ and St. Louis, MO; operated his own photography/video production company; consulted about (and uses) Web 2.0 technology (especially video production, blogging, podcasting, Facebook, WordPress, LinkedIn, and Twitter); and now runs,, and with his business partner, entrepreneurial psychologist Dr. Marc Kossmann.

At the heart of all of this Charlie has always known he’s a marketer and storyteller. His passion is to tell the story and make the sale, whether it is helping professionals explode their success in their businesses, getting theater productions produced at several theaters, selling major investment real estate along the East Coast of the United States, or running his own online businesses.

Giving back to his community, Charlie is also an Advisor for, has helped the youth of his church in annual work-camp trips, has created feature-length videos for the local high school, and has photographed each production at two local theaters over seven years.

Charlie has two beautiful, talented, and grown daughters (Stacie and Liz), a son-in-law (Chris), and a grandson (Beckett) who enrich his life in everything they do. He lives outside of Philadelphia in Wallingford, PA USA with his wife, Pam, a cat, a dog, 7 computers, and 8 cameras!
