WCNY Retail Network (WhRN) Kick-Off Meeting

The WCNY Retail Network (WhRN) is seeking new volunteers and members.  We are seeking a core group of interested members from within luxury or contemporary fashion retailers or organizations that work with them to form an organizational meeting and work out the details and schedule of this group.

WhRN/Fashion/Luxury is a great opportunity to build your network and knowledge within the Fashion/Retail Industry.

About the WCNY Retail Network (WhRN)
The WCNY Retail Network is an affinity group designed to provide Wharton alumni engaged in Retail with opportunities for networking and professional development as well as a forum to examine trends, challenges and thought leadership in areas impacting this field. We understand sub-segments in this sector, and are launching the WhRN within the Fashion/Luxury sub-segment.

We are currently seeking members working for or with retailers of clothing and accessories.  Accessories include but are not limited to footwear, eyewear, jewelry and fragrances. Within fashion, we will be focused on the luxury and contemporary segments.

The Wharton Retail Network will provide a forum for members (initially in the Fashion/Luxury Retail space) to discuss specific needs and interests that will drive the speaker schedule.  We will provide a forum to explore best practices, hear from industry leaders on a range of issues from integration of digital and non-digital retail, technology to improve productivity, store design, office design, latest social platform marketing, as well as networking and personal development. We will seek to integrate the Baker Retailing Center, unique to Wharton.
