Wharton Hedge Fund Network: D.B. Zwirn & Co., Dan Zwirn

Affinity Group
WHFN Organizing Committee

What is the WHFN New York?

The Wharton Hedge Fund Network (WHFN New York) was founded in 2005 as an affinity group of the Wharton Club of New York. The group aims to bring together Whartonites active in the greater hedge fund community, which includes professionals working at hedge funds, hedge fund allocators, lawyers, accountants, prime brokers and other service providers active in the hedge fund space. Events are by invitation only and limited to Wharton undergraduates and/or Wharton MBA's who are employed in the hedge fund space. (We do not permit attendance of Wharton alumni who are actively looking to find a job in the space, as we want to keep events from being overrun by job-seekers.)

What is the Next Event?

Our next event will feature keynote speaker Dan Zwirn W'93. Dan Zwirn is the managing partner and founder of D.B. Zwirn & Co., a multi-billion hedge fund that launched in 2001. He will speak about his thoughts on the state of industry, and what has made D.B. Zwirn a success.

The event will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at a midtown location. (The exact location will be communicated upon signing up.)

The itinerary is:
6.30 - 6.55: Registration,
6.55 - 7.00: Opening remarks and welcome,
7.00 - 7.20: D.B. Zwirn & Co., Dan Zwirn,
