Navigating a Changing Education Environment

Wharton Education Network (WhEN) and The Penn Graduate School of Education

The Penn Graduate School of Education and the Wharton Education Network invite you for drinks, appetizers, and a panel discussion on Navigating a Changing Education Environment.

The education sector presents a significant financial and social opportunity for investors.  Financially, global education is multi-billion dollar industry and continues to grow every day.  Socially, education is critical for building strong economies, vibrant democracies, and for helping individuals live rich and fulfilling lives.  However, navigating the education sector can be challenging.  Innovations in technology, learning science, public policy, and business are transforming education and the business of education – introducing new business models and upending existing ones while changing the classroom and the profession.

Join the Penn Graduate School of Education and the Wharton Education Network as we sit down with a distinguished panel of education experts to get their perspectives on this evolving landscape.

Dr. Bobbi Kurshan, the Executive Director for Academic Innovation at the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Education, will moderate the panel, which will include the following participants.

  • Mike Goldstein – Co-Chair, Education Practice at Cooley LLP
  • Matt Greenfield - Managing Partner of Rethink Education
  • Ann Kirschner – Dean, Macaulay Honors College, The City University of New York
  • Robert Lytle - Managing Director and Co-Head Education Practice at Parthenon Consulting
