Annual Wharton Milken Global Conference Breakfast Event May 2nd in Westwood

Please join the Wharton Club of Southern California and fellow alumni in town for the Milken Institute Global Conference for breakfast and an engaging conversation with Prof. David Bell.

The Wharton Club of Southern California is honored to have Professor David Bell joining us for breakfast.  David is the author of Location is (Still) Everything and the Xinmei Zhang and Yongge Dai Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School.  He'll be sharing some perspectives on digital transformation, how it is impacting the start-up community and ultimately how off-line and on-line experiences differ and can work in synergy.

David is an avid early stage investor who works with entrepreneurs who are founding the next generation of great brands and retail companies such as Bonobos, Harrys, and  Warby Parker. These companies are changing the face of retail by delivering true value to consumers and doing it with great narrative and vision for social impact.  This will be a chance to hear David's perspectives and to also connect with him one-on-one.

Jen Buchness from Wharton Alumni Relations will also be joining us and will share with the group relevant updates from campus as well as an overview of the Wharton Global Forum events.  You'll also have a chance to connect with alumni from around the globe and discuss topics of the day including macroeconomic trends, global innovation and of course the national hot topic of our 2016 election (if you dare).  The Conference brings some of the world's most extraordinary people together to explore today's most pressing challenges in financial markets, industry sectors, health, government and education.
