Leveraging Intergenerational Aspects in Today's Workplace

Career Speaker Series

In many organizations multiple generations reside in the workplace simultaneously. The amazing fact is that as many as four (!) distinct generations are at work at the same time, which adds further challenges to the workplace dynamics and to your own career progression.

Each generation has its own way of communicating to each other, as well as to those who are younger or older. They are in the workforce side by side, but often they are not necessarily in sync and their expectations and aspirations are different. As a manager or just as a colleague, how do you successfully navigate such a mix of compliments, conflicts, and missed opportunities?

In this workshop, you will be exposed to sensibilities and skills that will enhance your own understanding of specifics of all generations, help you to overcome stereotypes, improve organizational design, efficiency, and ultimately will allow you to find common ground. Leveraging generational diversity can become a business asset and improve the bottom line. We will also cover how failure to manage different generations well can increase tensions, decrease productivity and lead to failures.

There are more pronounced differences between the generations today than ever before. Learn to use them to your advantage.
