The Wharton Arts Network invites you to join us on Saturday, November 4th at 3:30 pm at the Museum of Arts & Design (MAD) for a private, docent-led tour. We will view the two fall exhibitions, Sonic Arcade: Shaping Space with Sounds and Studio Views: Craft in the Expanded Fields.Sonic Arcade is a multi-component exhibition featuring interactive installations, immersive environments and performing objects that explore sound as an art form. Studio Visits features interdisciplinary artists at work on large-scale, immersive and community-engaged installations.
We will meet in MAD's lobby at 2 Columbus Circle at 3:20 pm sharp, tour the exhibitions for an hour and then head across the street to the lounge at Landmark Grill in the Time Warner building for socializing and networking. The cost of the event is $26 for members and non-members. Space is limited so please RSVP promptly.
