Join other NY Tri-State-area Wharton alumni for an engaging walking tour of the best current Chelsea gallery art shows. Founder of Look@NYArt, Efren Olivares (Wh '88) will guide you on an expertly-planned, 2-hour tour of at least six galleries, to explore exhibitions by artists from around the world working across a variety of media: painting, sculpture, photography and mixed-media. You will learn about how Chelsea came to be a major gallery center, about each artist, and how their current show fits into their larger art practice. In particular, you will engage in conversations about impactful works of art - whether you are a more advanced art lover or a beginner.

After a successful 20-year career in pharmaceutical marketing at Pfizer, Baxter and Lilly, Efren obtained a Master of Art in Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie's Education and regularly takes individuals and groups on NYC gallery and museum tours. You are sure to learn a great deal while having fun looking at art with other Wharton alums!
