Emotional Intelligence: Strengthen Your Relationships with Others

Career Development

Emotional intelligence (EQ) is one of the most important ingredients you can possess as a leader. The beauty of EQ is that it doesn’t only increase your work performance, but it can have a major impact on your personal life. If you are looking to increase your EQ, then this program is for you.

The Career Development committee invites you to join Steve Aguirre, WG’13, for part two of an interactive workshop exploring Emotional Intelligence. Don’t worry if you missed part one on November 13, 2019, where we discussed self awareness and self management. On January 23, 2020 Steve will focus on how we can increase our social awareness and relationship management, which are the aspects of emotional intelligence that relate to others. Guests are welcome to attend second session even though they missed the first session.

Watch the short video at right to get a sense for what you can expect to learn. Similar to Steve's TEDx talks on the power of questions and keeping people engaged, this session is sure to be dynamic, practical, and fun!
