Alexandra Polier is a business and communications strategist with more than 20 years of experience, currently focused on the architecture and real estate sector. After graduating from Columbia Journalism School she spent a decade as a foreign correspondent in Europe and Africa before returning to New York in 2009 to work in public relations. Alex has worked as the Director of Communications for both Richard Meier & Partners and Dwell Media. She opened the strategic consulting firm DNA in 2015 where she represented leading international architecture and design firms. In January 2020, Alex joined ODA to head business development strategy as the company expands their portfolio to include master planning in top tier cities like New York, Rotterdam, Moscow, and Chicago. She is a Board Member of Terreform ONE, a nonprofit architecture and urban design studio aimed at combating the extinction of all planetary species through pioneering acts of design. She is also an active member of ULI.
