The Wharton Investment Resource Exchange (WIRE) angel investing and start-up network at the WCNY is proud to host a series of short webinars in which Wharton-alumni founders of startup companies share their innovative new businesses.

This webinar series gives Wharton alumni founders the opportunity to showcase their companies among the WCNY community, take questions from alumni, and strengthen the network to facilitate potential leads for hires, advisors or investors.

This WCNY startup series talk will feature Juan Betancourt, CEO of Humantelligence. Juan will be interviewed by Jerrod Hill, who is a venture principal at Audible, an Amazon subsidiary and invests in strategic startups. Questions from the audience are encouraged via the group chat on Zoom throughout the webinar.

About Humantelligence & Juan Betancourt
Humantelligence is an intelligent team collaboration and culture management software company. With the evolution of the modern workplace and remote technologies, companies seek to incorporate effective means of team collaboration across organizations and geographies. Humantelligence software embeds scalable proprietary psychometric science assessment tools developed over thirty years to improve peer to peer work behaviors, motivators, and work energizers, as well as team dynamics. Unlike other personality assessments, Humantelligence is scalable to 1000s of employees in 24 hours, given it is already integrated within other market leading collaboration solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Gmail, Outlook, and Zoom (see short 3 min demo).

Juan Betancourt, WG'98 is the CEO of Humantelligence, and has over a decade experience working in executive search at Korn/Ferry International, Heidrick & Struggles and Gonza Executive Search. Prior to that, he worked fifteen years as a global executive at Siebel Systems (now Oracle), Proctor & Gamble, Puma, and Decathlon. Through his work experience, he saw how most human capital management systems only automated administrative processes; but did not help maximize employee engagement and productivity. Juan created Humantelligence as the first solution of its kind to focus on “Smarter Collaboration” to solve the lack of connection created by a remote/hybrid world and found within any highly distributed workforce. Juan received his MBA from The Wharton School and MA in International Management from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Harvard University. He is an avid soccer fan, began his spiritual path over 10 years ago, and is married to a lovely doctor, Aarti Jerath, who has created a beautiful family which Juan cherishes, including two young children, Aura Devi (3 yrs. old), and Ashoka Carl (18 months old).
