The WHCMAA Annual Conference will be held November 13-14, 2025, at the Hilton at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia. The theme for the conference is: “Leadership Resiliency in a Time of Great Uncertainty & Change.” Whether our Wharton Alumni are entrepreneurs or intrapreneurs, innovators or investors, operators or strategists, there are certain leadership strengths and attributes that allow them to successfully navigate today’s uncertainty and change in the health care business environment.

The conference will focus on three timely topics and their impacts on alumni working in healthcare delivery and the life sciences:

• Innovation and Entrepreneurship with a Pre-Conference Pitch Contest on Thursday 11/13 showcasing Wharton alumni developing innovative solutions in healthcare delivery and the life sciences

We will devote the day on Friday 11/14 to the following topic areas:

• Policy Changes in Washington and the impact on financing healthcare and the life sciences
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the current and future impacts on healthcare and the life sciences

After a general session presentation for each of these topics, we will have breakout sessions with panels representing Providers & Payers and Life Sciences The ending keynote will conclude our conference and focus on Leadership Resiliency – what we alumni need to survive and thrive in this environment.
