Introducing Cab Franc Forward New York at The Penn Club!
Join us for a unique exploration of New York’s signature red grape at this special Cab Franc Forward New York evening at The Penn Club. Members will begin with a welcome pour of sparkling or rosé, followed by a seated presentation introducing Cabernet Franc’s rising prominence in the state and an overview of the three major winegrowing regions represented: the Finger Lakes, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. Following the presentation, guests are invited to enjoy a walk-around tasting with all eight founding wineries of Cab Franc Forward New York. Each winery will be represented by a winemaker or owner, offering members an exceptional opportunity to meet the people behind the wines and experience the depth and diversity of New York Cabernet Franc firsthand.

About Cab Franc Forward New York
Cab Franc Forward New York is a collaborative initiative uniting leading wineries from across the Finger Lakes, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley to elevate Cabernet Franc as New York State’s flagship red wine. Through shared education, advocacy, and public programming, the group highlights the quality, diversity, and terroir-driven character of New York Cabernet Franc. Members of the collective are committed to crafting wines that reflect their regions’ distinct climates and soils, showcasing the grape’s elegance, structure, and aging potential. The February 12 Penn Club event will feature all eight founding wineries, each pouring their current Cabernet Franc releases.
