Non-Profit -Social Impact Affinity Group Goals
The goal of the Wharton Non-Profit and Social Impact Affinity Group (WNP-SIA) is to bring together Wharton alumni working in non-profit organizations or social impact endeavors to increase business knowledge, be informed about community needs, and to support each other's professional career goals.

Who Is Membership Open to?
Our target membership is Wharton undergraduates and graduates who work in non-profit organizations as professionals or serve as volunteer board members, as well as those employed in businesses in social impact endeavors. Wharton alumni with non-profit volunteer experience and interested in a career transition to the non-profit sector are welcome to attend our meetings as guests. Please send a short two-line email to Dorothy Leas at WNPSIA@whartonny.com about your current activities as described above and your Wharton graduation year(s) if you wish to be invited to join the group and attend our events. We will get back to you within two business days on the status of your membership request.

Wharton alumni who are employed in businesses that sell to non-profits or social impact organizations may not join the group. If you would like to discuss a sponsorship opportunity, please contact WNPSIA@whartonny.com for further information.

What Are the Benefits of Membership?
WNP-SIA is an affinity group of the Wharton Club of New York for the purpose of networking. Our members represent all key sectors of non-profit organizations including social services, trade organizations, religious organizations, educational and cultural institutions, foundations, membership associations, and non-profit health care. Additionally we have members who are employed in companies in social impact areas such as microfinance, healthcare, and housing for the poor.

Events are by invitation only and limited to WNP-SIA members and approved guests. We are not able to permit walk-ins or replacements to our events. WNP-SIA members who are paid Wharton Club of New York (WCNY) members can attend WNP-SIA meetings and events at discounted prices. Generally, the cost of meetings are $20, with WCNY members paying a discounted rate of $10. Light refreshments will be served. Join/Renew Membership.

What Activities Does the Affinity Group Have to Support Its Goals?
WNP-SIA organizes networking events featuring speakers from the field, case presentations and socials in various venues across the New York area.
