Racism, social injustice, and discrimination remain within our society and within the business community at large. WCNY is committed to ensuring fair and humane treatment, and equal opportunity for every human being, no matter one's skin color, ethnicity, race or identity.

The Wharton Club of New York (WCNY) represents the largest group of Wharton alumni on this planet with approximately 25,000 alumni in the New York metropolitan area. As business leaders, our imprint on the businesses we touch is vast.

As Wharton alumni and business leaders, we embrace diversity and inclusion not only because it makes good business sense to do so, but because it is the right thing to do. Acknowledging the problem and making a stand are insufficient. WCNY has established the Equality Task Force to take action in working with business leaders to speed the process of ending systemic racism and discrimination in our workplaces and in our communities.

REPORTING
Data is a key driver in the fight for social justice. With data-led decision-making and prioritization, it's more important than ever to ensure that every incident is reported to have the right reflection of resources allocated to this problem.

If you are in imminent danger or witness an incident happening, call 9-1-1.

If you are not in imminent danger report the incident to your local precinct. To get information about counseling, legal assistance, health care, financial assistance, or to get help filing a police report, all NYC victims of crime can call (646) 610-5267 or e-mail to ASIANHCTF@NYPD.ORG.
