The COVID-19 crisis and recent geopolitical events have made energy markets front page news. Brandon Trama and Daniel De Boer will discuss how current events have impacted renewable and hydrocarbon-based energy markets and down-stream industries.

Join the Wharton Club of New York on June 1st for a discussion with Brandon Trama, WG'17, Vice President with Carlyle Power Partners, and Daniel De Boer, WG'14, Senior Portfolio Manager with Allianz Global Investors, as they address the state of energy markets due to COVID-19.

Brandon and Daniel will discuss the effects of COVID-19 and geopolitical events on the energy marketplace and potential implications for infrastructure development, financing and M&A. They will address how COVID-19 and related supply chain disruptions along with dramatic changes in crude oil and natural gas prices have impacted thermal and renewable power markets, as well as what the resulting prospects are for offshore wind and battery storage. They will summarize the impact these changes have on down-stream industries and for the everyday consumer.
