Ben Lerer (C '03) is the co-founder and CEO of Thrillist.com, a leading men’s multi-platform lifestyle publication with over 3 million daily subscriptions in 18 localized markets in the U.S. and U.K.  Since its launch in 2005, Lerer has overseen the growth of Thrillist's marketing, sales and business development efforts, most recently expanding its footprint into e-commerce by acquiring members-only online retailer JackThreads.com and launching a localized deal site Thrillist Rewards.

Thrillist was listed as no. 93 in Inc Magazine’s 2010 list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in the U.S.

In the last year, Lerer was among Crain’s “40 under 40” class of 2010, AdWeek’s “Digital Hotshots,” and no. 4 of Silicon Alley Insider’s “100 Coolest Tech People.” Lerer is also the co-founder of Lerer Ventures, a New York based Angel fund investing in media and technology.

About Dan Gellert & GateGuru
Dan Gellert co-founded GateGuru in 2009. Since the Company’s founding, Dan has successfully led GateGuru to market, including generating over 300,000 downloads, monetization of the product, partnerships with top travel brands including KAYAK, JetBlue and American Express, and over 100 press mentions. Prior to co-founding GateGuru, Dan was a venture capitalist with Time Warner Investments.

GateGuru is developing a mobile day-of travel platform. We launched the initial version of our mobile app for iOS in 12/09, which many likened to "Yelp for airports". We did very well w/ this version - we created a great brand, were featured in an Apple television commercial, and signed partnerships with great travel brands. We released GateGuru 2.0 recently, which starts to fulfill our much bigger vision of a "day-of" travel platform.
