Join the Wharton Entrepreneurs Education and Resource Network as some top up-and-coming Wharton startups will be pitching to leading early stage investors at our next event.

You don't need to pitch to attend the event!

The 3 investors include:

  • David Mars, Partner at White Owl Capital Partners, a New York based early stage investment firm focused on the energy (oil & gas and alternative) and technology (financial services and internet) sectors.  White Owl generally funds the first outside capital to a company. http://www.whiteowl.de/en/.
  • Ben Sun, is a co-founder and partner of LaunchTime LLC, an incubator focused on digital media and e-commerce. Previously, Mr. Sun co-founded Community Connect Inc. where he served as President & CEO for 12 years. Community Connect was acquired by Radio One. http://bensun.net/about/.
  • Phin Barnes, Partner at First Round Capital.  First Round has invested in top startups such as Fab, Group Me, Mint.com. http://www.firstround.com/.

REGISTER to attend the event by sending us an email to weearn@whartonny.com with:
1. Your Wharton graduation year(s),
2. A short two-liner about your activity in entrepreneurship/new ventures,
3. Your professional email address and contact info., and
4. Your personal email address to keep in touch throughout your career.

We are a closed group so you need approval to attend. Upon receipt of your email we will email you a registration link.

Membership is limited to those that both:
1) are Wharton undergrad or Wharton MBA alumni and 2) are or were actively (a) pursuing an entrepreneurial venture or (b) serving as an advisor/financing source for entrepreneurial ventures. Membership is not open to vendors at this time.

Due to building security requirements, you must pre-register for this event.  Walk-ins cannot be accepted.
Registration is subject to availability and will close on Sunday, October 7th at 4:00pm - No Exceptions! 


Send a paragraph describing your business, team and current fundraising status to weearn@whartonny.com . Given time constraints we can only select a limited number of startups to pitch.  If selected you will get about 15-20 minutes to pitch your company and get some valuable feedback at the very least.

If you are interested in pitching, let us know ASAP.  Available spots are disappearing quickly!  All prospective pitchers must register via the registration link (i.e., to ensure a spot in the room, which has limited capacity).  Note that events sell out quickly.
