Alex Moomjy - Park Hill
Mr. Moomjy, a Partner at Park Hill, is the head of its hedge fund origination and project management team and is based in New York. Mr. Moomjy has over twenty years of experience in the alternative asset and financial industry. Prior to joining Park Hill in 2006, Mr. Moomjy held Managing Director positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Merrill Lynch & Co. raising capital for hedge funds, placing secondary interests in private equity limited partnerships and raising private equity capital for corporate clients. Previously, Mr. Moomjy was a Director at the Treasurer’s Office of General Motors where he was Director of Corporate Finance and Investments. Mr. Moomjy received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rory Doyle - Cliffwater LLC
Rory is a Director and Head of Event Driven Strategies at Cliffwater LLC, a $75 billion alternatives adviser with over $35 billion in hedge fund asset under advisement. He is responsible for event driven manager due diligence, strategy research and client portfolio recommendations. Prior to joining Cliffwater, Rory was a senior Investment Analyst at Alternative Investment Management, LLC where he was responsible for manager selection and due diligence on the firm’s hedge fund investments. Previous experience includes working at Exclusive Analysis, Ltd., Fidelity Investments and Greenberg Traurig, LLP. Rory earned a BA with honors from Eugene Lang College and an MSc in International Political Economy from The London School of Economics.
Jordan Gershuny - JANA Partners
Prior to joining JANA Partners, Mr. Gershuny was the Global Head of the Client Advisory Group at FrontPoint Partners, where he was responsible for the firm’s Sales, Client Service and Product Specialist groups (2009-2012). After Morgan Stanley’s acquisition of FrontPoint in December 2006, Mr. Gershuny joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management as the Co-Head of Public Funds and a senior member of the Strategic Client Advisory Group. (2006-2008). Mr. Gershuny first joined FrontPoint Partners in 2004 as the FrontPoint Multi-Strategy Fund Product Specialist. Prior to joining FrontPoint, Mr. Gershuny worked in the Private Fund group at Credit Suisse First Boston (2002-2003). BBA in Finance, University of Michigan (2002).
Kyrill Asatur - Golub Capital
Kyrill Asatur is Director of Business Development for the Opportunistic Credit business at Golub Capital, with a particular focus on GC Synexus, the long/short credit hedge fund run by Daniel Posner. Mr. Asatur was previously the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Business Development at Crescendo Partners LP. Prior to joining Crescendo, Mr. Asatur was the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Riva Ridge Capital Management LP. Mr. Asatur began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent eight years and was most recently a Vice President in the Prime Brokerage division. Mr. Asatur earned his B.B.A. in Finance and Banking from Hofstra University in 2001.
Louis Molinari (Moderator) - Barclays
Louis V. Molinari is a Managing Director and Head of the Capital Solutions group at Barclays, based in New York. Mr. Molinari is responsible for managing the Capital Introductions and Strategic Consulting teams. Mr. Molinari joined Barclays in September 2008 from Lehman Brothers, where he was a Managing Director and US Head of the Capital Introductions Investor Coverage group. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, he was a founding partner and President of Metropolitan West Securities LLC., a US Investment Advisor and Broker Dealer firm. Under his leadership Metropolitan West accumulated over $400bn in assets under custody across 50+ account relationships globally. Mr. Molinari was a member of Metropolitan West’s executive, credit and investment committees. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, working in various roles throughout the firm and ultimately serving as Managing Director of their Institutional Asset Management businesses.
Mr. Molinari has a JD from Fordham University Law School and a BS in Business Administration from Fordham University.
