Sustainability is not a buzz word anymore. Companies across the globe, irrespective of the sector or nature of business are trying to find ways in which they can reduce their carbon footprint or impact other societal or governance areas and leave a better planet for future generations.

We would like to introduce Josh Prigge, founder of the sustainability firm Sustridge and host of the Sustainable Nation podcast. Josh is a sustainability consultant, college professor, published author, and public speaker with over eleven years of experience managing sustainability programs and initiatives for large organizations. In 2017 and 2019, Josh was recognized as a top environmental leader in the business sector receiving the Environmental Leader 50 award and Environment and Energy Leader 100 award respectively.

Josh's work has been featured in publications such as Forbes.com, The Guardian, The Huffington Post and Triple Pundit, and Josh has presented at numerous sustainability conferences and events around the world including:

Josh holds a Master of Arts in Global Leadership and Sustainable Development, an MBA, accreditation as a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor, LEED Green Associate and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) certified training.

For today’s session Josh will provide an overview of how sustainability creates business value. He will talk about the baby steps companies can take in moving towards sustainability, how sustainability enhances the company’s overall goals and how to manage investor expectations around sustainability. He will speak of his various personal experiences in working with companies on implementing the plans, the challenges faced and the roadblocks that companies are trying to still tackle.
