Affinity Group

What is the Wharton Hedge Fund Network?
The Wharton Hedge Fund Network (WHFN) was founded in 2005 as an Affinity Group of the Wharton Club of New York (WCNY). The group aims to bring together Wharton alumni active in the greater hedge fund community, which includes professionals working at hedge funds, hedge fund allocators, and dedicated service providers.

Events are by invitation only and limited to Wharton undergraduates and/or Wharton MBA's who are employed in the hedge fund space. For more information on WHFN and past events, please visit the Wharton Hedge Fund Network page.

What is the Next Event?
Our second event of the year will be a discussion on the multi-manager model featuring panelists in senior roles at multi-manager hedge funds. Michael Englander runs Millennium Management’s incubator program for new PMs in the Millennium organization. Christophe Khaw is the chief investment strategist for 1798. Robert Kim is the CIO of Arya Partners, the long/short equity hedge fund platform owned by AllianceBernstein. The event will be moderated by Betty Gee, US Head of Strategic Consulting for Barclays.

The event will be held Wednesday, May 9th at a Midtown location. (The exact location will be communicated shortly after signing up.) We will not be able to permit walk-ins, replacements or guests.

The itinerary is:
